Books! Books! Books!

I love to read.   My book shelves are packed and I've had to put some of my collection away in boxes.   Reading is relaxing and enlightening.  Amazon.com has every book you could possibly imagine.

The Outlander Series by Diana Gabaldon

One of my all time favorite series of books.  I rarely re-read books because there are so many good ones out there but I could read Diana's books over and over.  The best place to learn more about these books and the main characters, Jamie and Claire, is the Ladies of Lallybroch site.

Check out my Jamie and Claire site as well.

Washington State

I am blessed to live in one of the most beautiful places in the country.  I haven't had a chance to do much traveling yet but I can't imagine living anywhere else.  Washington State will always be my Heaven.

Artistic Gymnastics

While I have never been a gymnast myself (I seem to have issues with the balance beam), I love to watch gymnastics.  There is something about the way they defy gravity and are able to make the most difficult physical feats look effortless.   They leave me in awe of the potential of the human body.  I have the same fascination with figure skating.   Those people truly do have wings.

What can I say?  He's just so yummy! Check out Maximum Russell Crowe for everything you've ever wanted to know about the man!  You can look here to learn about his band, 30 Odd Foot of Grunts and even visit Russell's personal page!

dslogo.gif (10478 bytes) due South

due South is the adventures of by the book Mountie, Benton Fraser (Paul Gross) who travels to Chicago on the trail of his father's killer. While investigating the case he hooks up with the not always ethical, street smart Chicago cop, Ray Vecchio (David Marciano). For various reasons he stays as a Deputy Liason Officer at the Canadian Consulate. Together with Fraser's deaf, donut stealing wolf, Diefenbaker, the guys try to make Chicago a little safer.

WolfHaven International

I have always been an animal lover but I find myself particularly drawn to wild wolves.  This is kind of odd since I've always been more of a "cat person" than a "dog person".  WolfHaven International located in Tenino, WA is an organization working to help the remaining wolves in their natural habitat, educate the public about these amazing creatures, and to provide a home for wolves who can no longer care for themselves in the wild.
