The AVT Series cabinets each contain four specially-voiced Celestion speakers. The cabs are the width of an AVT head, which is slightly narrower than a standard, full-sized Marshall head. The angled cabinet is designed to stack above the straight cabinet. They can also be used with the older Valvestate line of amps.

This pair of AVT 4x12 cabinets are aligned in a "stack" configuration. The top (angled) cabinet is the AVT412A, and the bottom (straight) cabinet is the AVT412B.

Each AVT Series cabinet is rated at 200 watts RMS. Marshall designed these cabinets to produce the bottom end normally associated with the bigger, full-size 4x12 enclosures, such as those in the 1960 series.
