Marshall 1962 Bluesbreaker Combo Amplifier

Marshall 1962 'Bluesbreaker' Combo

Buy it!

If we could bring only one amp to a deserted island, this would probably be the one!

The original Model 1962 is known as the "Bluesbreaker" because Eric Clapton used it during his reign with John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers. Plug in your axe, sustain a note and discover for yourself Clapton's famous "woman tone." That warm bass and vibrant top end is ideally suited for making an expressive sound that your audience will truly feel.

Part of the magic to the sound of the Vintage Series amps is that they're hand wired in the Marshall factory, using specially sourced components. An example is the GZ34 rectifier tube (valve) that helps the Model 1962 produce that famous output stage compression and creamy sustain.

The 1962 combo is loaded with a pair of 12" reissue Celestion "Greenback" 25-watt speakers that recreate that classic sixties tone. Footswitchable tremolo effect is also included.
